Date: 29 March 2012Eaton IT Channel Program Awarded for “XCellence” in Hardware, Execution
RALEIGH, N.C. … Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation today announced the company’s information technology (IT) channel PowerAdvantage® Partner Program was honored with two XChange XCellence awards in the Hardware and Boardroom Execution categories at the UBM Channel XChange Solution Provider 2012 conference. The annual event examines the most pressing challenges facing the solution provider business and offers best practices from industry leaders to address those challenges and gain a competitive advantage.
The XChange XCellence Award winners were selected by top solution providers and honor the vendors with the most exceptional products, programs and technologies in the IT channel market. Attendees were asked to evaluate vendors throughout the event, and then cast their votes. This year’s event brought together more than 225 solution providers and nearly 80 vendor companies to network, train and define the future of the channel.
“As efficiency and power management become increasingly critical to businesses, we look forward to continuing to develop Eaton’s product portfolio and services that enable our resellers to build a more resilient infrastructure for their customers,” said Curtiz Gangi, director of IT channel sales, Eaton. “The UBM awards for hardware and execution are further validation of our mission, and we are honored to have our efforts recognized by the IT community.”
During the three-day XChange conference, Eaton presented its award-winning, highly efficient power protection and power management solutions to attendees. In addition, Eaton showcased its tools and strategies for partners to integrate and manage Eaton solutions with their customers’ virtualized and cloud infrastructures.
“The XChange XCellence Award winners represent the vendors that have seamlessly adapted to this New IT Economy, and continue to offer innovative solutions to address customer pain points and minimize IT investment. Most importantly, the win is awarded by solution providers and acknowledges those vendors that continue to offer the channel best in class solutions,” said Robert C. DeMarzo, senior vice president of strategic content, UBM Channel.
